How do I get home support services?

Please contact Continuing Care on their toll free number 1-800-225-7225 between 8.30am and 4.30pm, 7 days per week.

What does Home Support cost?

Cost is determined by assessment which will be discussed with you during an in-home visit from Continuing Care.

How do I cancel a visit?

Please call Lunenburg County Home Support scheduling department on 902-543-1650.

What if I need more or less service?

Please call your community-based care coordinator or their general number 902-527-5454.

What if I have questions or concerns about my service?

One of our Nurse Supervisors will be happy to assist you, please contact them on 902-543-1650.

Will I always have the same Home Support worker?

Where possible we try to provide continuity of care, however due to scheduling and staff leave we are unable to guarantee you specific staff members or advise on who your worker will be in advance. Please be assured that all of our staff are trained to perform the tasks that they are scheduled for.
